Coal River Coffee Company is a locally owned coffee shop located in the heart of Main Street in Saint Albans, West Virginia-- the flat water capital of West Virginia. Michael and Rachel Ervin are the owners of this business, which has become the hub of the Saint Albans community.  Mike's passion is to serve the best and freshest roasted coffees from around the world to everyone who walks in the doors.  Rachel loves to bake beautiful and delicious food to share with all who visit the coffee shop.  They both grew up in Saint Albans and are grateful to base their business in this great city.  Their desire is to not only roast the best coffee but also to brew community.  The Ervins love art and so they sell the wares of local artists and writers.  They also have live music on Thursday and Friday evenings.  If you want to feel the heart of this community-- come in, sit and stay awhile.  You will love the friendly, welcoming atmosphere-- and the many unique coffees, drinks, sandwiches, and sweets that only Coal River Coffee has to offer.

Owners Teri Bush Blevins and Dan Blevins have the corner spot on Olde Main that thousands drive by each day.  The pink awnings and beautiful details of the shop's outside decor pull customers in to the sweet smells of baked goods.  The display cases are filled with beautifully designed and tasty sweets!  Cupcakes, wedding cakes, specialty cakes, pepperoni rolls, sausage balls, pies, and fresh baked breads do more than delight-- they bring customers back over and over again!  Word of this bakery's delicious baked goods has gone beyond the boarders of our state, reaping orders from surrounding states.  Even Paula Deen asked Teri to bake a 90th birthday cake for her mother!  So, stop in and treat yourself!

Shuckers is a fun and welcoming seafood restaurant in Saint Albans, West Virginia.  They use the best ingredients for their food and provide a great atmosphere for dining.  New owners Robin and Guy Turturice have made beautiful changes to the inside and outside of their coastal-themed establishment.  The decor and seafood take you away to a favorite beach spot in your mind!  Dine here often and savor their seafood, pasta, steaks, sandwiches, soups, salads-- and of course, their hush puppies with honey butter.  In addition to the restaurant, there is a bar which serves up tasty adult beverages.  Shuckers is a great place to make friends and meet friends.  Robin and Guy hope to see you soon!

The TAP is a local tap house in Saint Albans, West Virginia.  They have a specialty food menu, along with some of the finest craft beer, wine, ciders, and seltzers from the state of West Virginia and surrounding areas.  Their house made sangria is amazingly good.  The TAP is a beautiful bar with a friendly, welcoming atmosphere with delicious BBQ, wings, pork belly burnt ends, southwest chicken wraps, pulled pork, grilled shrimp tacos, grilled chicken tenderloins, sliders, Tri-tip Philly, nachos, flatbreads, salads, macaroni and cheese, corn salad,  potato salad, baked beans-- and even ice cream sundaes.  Yum!  Stop by soon and meet nice guy owners Bryan England, T.J.
